Kamler seeks lawsuit restitution, or resignation, from Penning

Owensville resident John Kamler addressed Northern District Commissioner Matt Penning for more than two minutes Thursday requesting he repay legal fees associated with the salary lawsuit he filed against Ron Jost, Jerry Lairmore, and Max Aubuchon or resign.

State audit cites four concerns for county


Gasconade County’s recently completed state audit shows concerns with four issues, primarily procedural or accounting issues, across four separate departments.

Several of the auditor’s concerns have already been addressed, or corrected, according to responses from officials whose departments were audited. Those responses are included in the full audit report available on-line at auditor.mo.gov.

This year’s Dutchmen football squad kicked off their season just like every year with a scrimmage against Blair Oaks. With their 13 returning starters and many more promising talents, the Dutchmen looked like they were going to win.
