‘Addi’s Army’ rocks it

A fifth and sixth-grade volleyball tournament Saturday at Owensville High School was expected to raise $18,000 for an Owensville girl, 4, undergoing brain cancer treatment. Addison Floyd (waving to spectators, above) and her parents, Jennifer and Bill, are introduced before the start of the sixth-grade tournament by Cindy Dyer (far right). The girl’s great-aunt, Kathy Echols, is also pictured. “It was awesome. It was amazing,” said Echols of the outpouring of support. Bourbon fifth-graders Brooklyn Bouse, Mia Gebhart and Chesley Madison (from left) sign a volleyball for the “Addi’s Army” tournament as Mia’s mom, Jennifer, hands Chelsea money for a donation jar.
