Mr. and Mrs. Robert A. Bethune of Belle wish to announce the engagement of their daughter, Ryann Alexandria Bethune to Anthony “Tony” Alvarez, son of Mr. and Mrs. Richard Timmermann of Sullivan.
The bride-to-be is the granddaughter of Zelda Beasley of Owensville and Betty Bethune of Naples, Fla. She is a graduate of Belle High School and is currently employed with The Maries County Bank.
The groom-to-be is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Terry Smutzer of Fort Madison, Iowa, and Maria Alvarez of San Antonio, Texas. He is a graduate of Owensville High School and is currently employed as assistant manager of Wal-Mart.
The couple is planning an April 27, 2019, wedding in Hermann.
