Local Republicans were signing the blues this past Wednesday following the Nov. 4 election where Democrat Barack Obama was selected president and four of the five top state offices went to Democrats including the governor’s office.

Owensville officials are advertising for formal Requests for Proposals (RFP) on the city’s power grid and electrical generation system. City Administrator John Tracy said it was another step toward getting the city out of the electric business and is needed to determine what value the city’s system has on the open market.`
