Fall from deer stand critically injures Gerald teen; suffers fractures to neck PDF Print E-mail

Blake Flannery, a 2008 Owensville High School graduate and former Dutchmen wrestler, was critically injured Sunday morning in a fall from a tree stand while hunting deer west of Union.

Robert Huesgen finishes Ironman Triathalon in top half of field PDF Print E-mail

Now living in Florissant, Mo., 1998 OHS graduate Robert Huesgen celebrates finishing an Ironman Triathalon in Louisville, Ky., back in September with his family and friends. Huesgen completed a 2.4 mile swim, 112 mile bike ride and 26.2 mile run in 13:15:30 to place 727th out of 1,975 total participants. He also placed 78th among 166 competitors in his division.ImageImage

The OHS Troubadours presented their annual dinner concert on Friday titled “Ain’t Misbehavin” with songs from the 1940’s and 1950’s. Randi Bloemke, center, sang “At Last”.
