For the first time since Hailey Diestelkamp was named an All-Four Rivers Conference (FRC) soccer player, Jordan Palmer’s Owensville Dutchgirl soccer team had one of their own recently earn All-FRC accolades following voting by the six coaches from OHS, Union, Pacific, Sullivan, St. James and St. Clair.

Finding the back of the net an eye-popping 47 times this spring, sophomore Destinee Busenhart was one of six players named to the All-FRC Second-team offense.

To go along with her All-FRC nod, Busenhart and senior teammate Renee Elliott were both selected the Class 2, District 8 All-District Team following voting by coaches from Owensville, Sullivan, St. Clair and St. Francis Borgia.

Following Borgia’s district championship last Wednesday at OHS, their season ended Saturday in a 2-0 loss to O’Fallon Christian.
