Camille Aeck McCauley, 101, Owensville, died Friday, Dec. 22, 2017, at St. Mary’s Health Center in Jefferson City.

She was born May 20, 1916, to Leon P. and Alice (Dobbyns) Aeck, in Sioux City, Iowa.

She was united in marriage to Thomas McCauley, June 5, 1941, in Omaha, Neb.

Camille was a member of Queen of the Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Overland Park, Kan., where she participated in St. Bernadette’s Circle.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Thomas; and siblings, Richard Aeck and Courtney Aeck.

She is survived by daughters, Linda Thompson and husband Jerry of Owensville and Laurie McCauley Strange and husband Mike of Grand Junction, Colo.; and four grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held Friday, Dec. 29, from 9:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Gottenstroeter Chapel in Owensville. Funeral services will follow with Fr. Wayne Boyer officiating. Entombment will be in Gottenstroeter Mausoleum in Owensville.
