Carol Ann Fischer, 72, Owensville, passed away Monday, Feb. 11, 2019, at her residence.
She was born June 16, 1946, to Laverne and Thelma Mabel (Jett) Duncan, in Owensville.
She was united in marriage to Robert Fischer, Feb. 24, 1961, at Pastor Marion Spurgeon’s home.
Carol enjoyed camping, playing games, cooking and spending time with family and watching movies. She was a member of Liberty Baptist Church and was strong in her faith.
She was preceded in death by parents, Laverne and Thelma; sister, Delores Seba; and great-granddaughter, Angela Shaul.
She is survived by husband, Robert, of the home; children, Cheryl Cook, Deborah Fischer, Crystal Cook and husband Elwood, all of Owensville, and Dana Fink of Washington; siblings, Richard Duncan and wife Joyce, Larry Duncan and wife Margaret, Glen Duncan and wife Joyce and Donna Jones and husband Craig, all of Owensville, and Mary Durbin and husband Larry of Bland; and seven grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held (today) Wednesday, Feb. 13, from 4-8 p.m. at Gottenstroeter Chapel in Owensville. Funeral services will be Thursday, Feb. 14, at 11 a.m. at Gottenstroeter Chapel with Rev. Kirk Kellogg officiating. Burial will be in Countryside Memorial Gardens.
