Josh Wagner (above) volunteered his services as a crossing guard at the corner of Highway 50 and third street in Rosebud on Saturday to assist shoppers during the annual Octoberfest / Treasure Days sale. To ensure safety the Missouri Department of Transportation placed a sign at both ends of town warning drivers to be careful of pedestrians on the narrow highway. Excellent weather in the morning greeted a good crowd of shoppers hunting for bargains only to be dampened by heavy rain in the afternoon.
