Dale Bryan Geisler, 57, Rosebud, passed away Thursday, March 21, 2019, at his residence.
He was born Dec. 28, 1961, to Chesley and Marcella (Winters) Geisler, in Washington.
He was united in marriage to Cheryl Ann Koch, Jan. 14, 1989, in Owensville.
Dale enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending time with family and friends. He was a NASCAR fan and attended numerous races. After high school, he worked at Custom Printing and Newlywed Foods before being employed by WalMart at its St. James Distribution Center. As he prepared for retirement, he had worked the last few years at the Sullivan WalMart Store.
He was preceded in death by parents, Chesley and Marcella; and wife of almost 30 years, Cheryl, on Dec. 31, 2018.
He is survived by Cheryl’s son, Chris Racherbaumer and wife Joshlyn of O’Fallon; Cheryl’s daughter, Angie Gooch and husband John of Gerald; brother, Fred Geisler of Arlington, Va.; sister-in-law, Rita Keeling and husband Greg of Springfield; and by their grandchildren, Cassidy and Matthew Gooch of Gerald.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, March 26, at Gottenstroeter Funeral Home with Kevin Sullivan officiating. Burial was at Countryside Memorial Gardens, Owensville.
