Evelyn Eleanora Binkhoelter, 94, Owensville, passed away Tuesday, Oct. 2, 2018, at Mercy Hospital in Washington.
She was born March 21, 1924, to Omar and Clara (Winter) Hilkerbaumer, at Drake.
She was united in marriage to Milfred Binkhoelter, June 18, 1950, at St. James United Church of Christ at Charlotte.
Evelyn was a member of Rosebud American Legion Ladies Auxiliary, Immanuel Lutheran Church at Rosebud, and LWML where she was secretary for 16 years. She also volunteered at Gasconade Manor and enjoyed gardening. She baby-sat local children at her home for many years and cherished the memories of all of the children she cared for.
She was preceded in death by parents, Omar and Clara; and husband, Milfred Binkhoelter.
She is survived by daughter, Sherri Durbin and husband Shannon of Rosebud; grandchildren, Rachel Durbin of Rosebud and Caitlyn Standley and husband Jeffrey of Owensville; and great-granddaughter, Claire Standley.
Funeral services were held Saturday, Oct. 6 at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Rosebud with Pastor Joel Pike officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery.
