Felony drug, weapons charges filed; 15 firearms seized

Gasconade County Sheriff’s deputies assisting the Children’s Division and Lake Area Narcotics Enforcement Group arrested Jason H. Loeb at his residence on Feb. 28 in the 4000 block of Loeb Road.

Loeb was charged March 1 in a Gasconade County warrant with a class D felony count alleging possession of a controlled substance (except 35 grams or less of marijuana) and a class D felony count alleging unlawful possession of a firearm. Lawmen seized 15 firearms from the residence, according to Sheriff John Romanus. 

Loeb was transported to the Crawford County Jail in Steelville and placed on a 24-hour hold pending the application for a warrant. According to court records on Case.net, Loeb posted a $10,000 cash/surety bond On Friday and was released.

He was scheduled to be arraigned this morning in Hermann before Associate Circuit Judge Ada Brehe-Krueger. 

Loeb was also charged with a class A misdemeanor count of unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia as a prior offense.
