Owensville police along with Gasconade County Sheriff’s Office, Missouri State Highway Patrol and Owensville Fire Department vehicles lead the funeral procession Jan. 3 out Route EE for Rhonda Newman, court administrator for the city of Owensville. Newman died Dec. 28 at home near Bland following a cancer diagnosis this past fall. Newman, 59, was a former reserve police officer in Owensville and also worked as a dispatcher for the city.
