Justin Haase of Rosebud was recently named as the new Deputy Chief for the Gerald-Rosebud Fire Department.
Haase has served on the department for 10 years. He has progressed from firefighter to Lieutenant to Captain to Assistant Chief and now has become the Deputy Chief.
In a statement the district wrote, “Through dedication, motivation, integrity, reliability, loyalty, perseverance and commitment, Justin Haase has not only provided adequate acts of service and valor but has also inspired his surrounding community to never give up, always work with integrity and keep pushing forward even in unfavorable conditions.”
Haase will serve as second-in-command in the department to Fire Chief Warren Weiss. He is one of three EMT’s on the department.
