Hankins – Hafner unite in marriage

Crystal Hankins of Gerald and Cole Hafner of Owensville were united in marriage Saturday, June 9, 2018, at the First Baptist Church in Owensville. The ceremony was officiated by Bro. Kevin Sullivan. The reception followed at the Owensville Lion’s Hall.

The bride is the daughter of Tammy Messex and Ron Parmentier of Gerald and Todd and Jeanne Clagg of Watson, Ill., and the granddaughter of the David and Gail Fagan of Effingham, Ill., Linda Harmon of Gerald, Jim and Sharon Messex of Salem and the late Jim Clagg.

The groom is the son of Pete and Tina Hafner of Kansas City and Tom and Donielle Farrar of Owensville and the grandson of Mervin and Mary Hafner of Bland, Leland and Joyce Scheel and Burl and Ruth Cummins, all of Owensville.

Denver Pruessner, friend of the bride, served as Matron of Honor. Bridesmaids were Shaylyn McBride, friend of the bride, and Sara Farrar, sister of the groom. Scarlett Dillingham, cousin of the groom, served as flower girl.

Brandon Pruessner, friend of the groom, served as Best Man. Groomsmen were Dylan McBride and Matthew Kluba, friends of the groom. Kai Robertson, nephew of the bride, served as ring-bearer.

Ushers were Jordan Vincent, friend of the groom, and Mason Hankins, brother of the bride.

The couple resides in Kansas City and will honeymoon in Colorado at a later date.
