A Volvo tractor-trailer traveling south which went off the right side of Highway 19 at 5 p.m. Nov. 20 toppled over onto its side in front of the old Enke Station. Josh Wrestler (above, back to camera), of Salem, Ark., was hauling 77,000 pounds of shelled corn from Hartville, Mo., back to a friend in Arkansas who needed it when the accident occurred. It took until 7:30 p.m. for the truck to be removed from the roadway by I-44 Truck Center and Wrecker Service. Although the tractor-trailer unit was across both lanes, motorists were able get around the crash through the old service station’s parking lot. ““The only part that hurt was when I took the seat belt off,” said Wrestler. He was not injured.
