Homecoming Friday

“Dawn of a Decade” is the theme for this year’s Owensville High School Fall homecoming taking place this week. Homecoming queen candidates and attendants (in front, from left) include seniors Shianne Thomas, Taylor Wildebrandt and Mackenzie Hoffman; attendants in back include Kaitlyn Nelson (freshman), Brooke Titov (sophomore), Paige Tayloe (junior), Celeste Brandt (junior), Allie Krupp (sophomore) and Katelyn Landolt (freshman). The annual homecoming parade will be held Friday morning throughout the R-2 campus beginning at 10 a.m. The dance will be held Saturday from 7-11 p.m. OHS Student Council sponsor Kayla Pyle is hoping to have the dance outside at Dutchmen Field. A pep assembly will also be held Friday afternoon beginning at approximately 2:30 p.m. at OHS. The Dutchmen are hosting Sullivan in a Four Rivers Conference football game at 7 p.m. Friday. The queen coronation is scheduled prior to the game and will start at 6:30 p.m.
