Candidate filing for the April 2 Municipal Election closed at 5 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 15. That afternoon Brad Landwehr and Hillary Ward both signed up to run for mayor.
Mayor Cary Parker had filed his intention to run again Monday. All incumbents have filed for reelection.
On Tuesday, Angie Koepke also filed to challenge Ward 1 Alderman Steve Grgurich who filed opening day.
Ward 1 Alderman Ruth Haase was recently appointed to fill a vacated seat and will be running for the unexpired one year term. Ward 2 Alderman Kent Richardson also filed.
This means Haase and Richardson should retain their seats. The race will be for the Ward 1 seat and for mayor.
