Jackie Myers

Jackie (Walton) Myers, 87, Owensville, formerly of Cuba, passed away Monday, Sept. 24, 2018.

She was born Aug. 26, 1931, to Frances E. and Jean Lupardus Walton, in St. Louis.

She was united in marriage to David A. Myers, March 27, 1948, in Murry, Ken.

Jackie worked at Mar-Bal Inc. in Cuba for many years. She was a previous member of the American Legion Auxiliary, Cuba. She attended St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, Cuba.

She was preceded in death by parents, Frances and Jean; husband, David; brothers, Stanley Perdue, Pat Perdue and wife Carol, Michael Perdue, Danny Perdue and wife Monte Perdue; sisters, Frances Scholl, Judy Puddy and husband Al, Linda McConnell and Cynthia Chapman; sister-in-law, Sara Perdue; brothers-in-law, Paul Myers, Leroy Myers, Joe Myers and Red Eaton; and great-granddaughter, Stacy Boyer.

She is survived by daughter, Sherri Jackson and husband Jack of Delta; brother, James Perdue of Gassville, Ark.; sisters, Rebecca McConnell and husband Eddy and Cathy LeGrand and husband Raymond, all of Oran; sisters-in-law, Ruby Perdue of Viola, Ark., Diane Perdue of the state of Arkansas, and Pauline Eaton, Maxine Myers and Wanda Myers, all of Cuba; and by 6 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and 12 great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Friday, Sept. 28, at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church with Pastor Ed Pederson officiating. Burial was at Meramec Hills Cemetery, Cuba.
