Local artists invited to Capitol to view their work

Eight students from Gasconade R-2 elementary schools visited the state Capitol to view their artwork on display.  Youth Art Month is held each March. Schools are allowed to enter a total of four pieces of student art.  Great artwork is collected throughout the school year and other faculty members are asked to narrow the collection down to the four best pieces.. The students and their teachers are shown in the Capitol’s rotunda (above).
