Lottie Lou Teel, 89, died Thursday, March 7, 2019 at her residence in Rosebud, MO.

She was born in Norwich, KS on July 15, 1929 a daughter to Gerald Adams and Georgia Lewis (Mosby) Schiefelbine.

She was preceded in death by her parents Gerald and Georgia; her husband, Charles William (Bill) Teel; and one sister, Dixie Thompson.

Her survivors include her daughter, Sharon (Sherry) Kiefer and husband John of Rosebud; her son Val Teel of Washington, MO; three grandchildren, Christopher Paz and wife Rebekah of St. Louis, Jennifer Thompson and husband Ken of Owensville, and Ashley Fish and husband Jaret of St. Louis; and four great-grandchildren, Loralyn Clark, Karys Thompson, Ian Paz, and Leanna Paz.

Lottie’s family moved to St. Louis in the early 1940’s and she graduated from Normandy High School in 1947. Lottie was united in marriage to Bill Teel on September 9, 1950 at Overland Christian Church where she also met Bill in their youth group. Lottie raised her family in Florissant, worked at Falstaff Brewing Headquarters and then First Community Credit Union, where she retired. Lottie was a Girl Scout Leader and Camping Coordinator, a member of the Order of Eastern Star and later in her life it was all about the three B’s: bowling, bingo and watching her birds.

It was a life well lived and Lottie will be missed by all who knew her.

A graveside committal service will be Friday, March 15 at 11 AM at Bellerive Gardens in St. Louis.
