Louie Roques, 92, Owensville, passed away Monday, May 27, 2019, at Gasconade Manor in Owensville.
He was born July 6, 1926, to Virgil and Pearl (Elder) Roques, at Qulin, Mo.
He was united in marriage to Imagene Parks, June 18, 1948, at Baxter, Ark.
Louie served in the U.S. Army with the 82nd Airborne during WWII.
He was preceded in death by parents, Virgil and Pearl; wife, Imagene; sisters, Shirley Farrar, Jane Jansen and Clara Flatt; and brothers, Henry and Ernie Roques.
He is survived by children, Louie S. Roques and wife Linda of St. Charles and Brenda L. Roques of Villa Ridge; and three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were Friday, May 31, at Gottenstroeter Funeral Home in Owensville with Pastor Kevin Sullivan officiating.
Burial was at Mt. Hermon Cemetery in Salem with full military honors.
