In June, the Honorable Gael D. Wood ordered mediation between Bull Moose Tube Co. (BMT) and the City of Gerald.
BMT had filed a lawsuit in February against the city when it attempted to raise the lease rate for the city owned building which BMT occupies.
Dave Streubel, the city’s attorney who has been part of the negotiations, confirmed that mediation has failed.
The two parties are scheduled to again come before Judge Wood Thursday, Nov. 1. Since the two parties were unable to reach a compromise, the judge will now have to make a ruling on the matter.
