Natural death, warrant arrests reported by sheriff’s office

Gasconade County Sheriff’s deputies responded to the 4600 block of Elk Head Road on July 7 for a reported death. Mark Marino, 41, Bland, apparently died from natural causes, Sheriff John Romanus reported.

On July 6, deputies responded to the area of Route E and Kattlemann Road near Hermann for a motor vehicle accident. The accident occurred when Devin Minks, 22, Hermann lost control of a 2002 Dodge Neon after he was forced off the roadway by an oncoming vehicle. No injuries were reported. The car sustained moderate damage.

Also on July 6, deputies stopped a Chevrolet Geo in the 1000 block of Highway 28. The driver, Patricia L. White, 48, Bland was arrested on a warrant charging her with probation violation and being an absconder from the Fulton Community Supervision Center.

Romanus also reports the July 6 arrest of Rebecca Fieser, 32, Rosebud. Deputies had gone to 3700 block of Route T for a 911 hang-up. Fiese was arrested on warrants from Franklin County charging her with shoplifting and possession of dangerous drugs. She was turned over to Franklin County authorities.

On July 5, deputies stopped Danny Lee Stradford, 60, Owensville, driving a 1997 Dodge pickup on Highway 28 near Owensville. He was arrested and cited for driving while revoked and failure to provide proof of insurance. He was released on summonses to appear in court.

Deputies responded July 4 to the 1700 block of East Forest Lane for a possible overdose by a man, 27, who had taken prescription medication. He was treated at the scene by emergency medical services and then transported by ambulance to a hospital for further treatment.

On July 2, deputies responded to the 2000 block of East Highway 28 for a motor vehicle accident. A 2004 Chevrolet, driven by Randall L. Noblett, 55, Owensville, left the roadway and struck a tree and fence. He had suffered an apparent medical issue causing him to temporarily lose control of his vehicle. No injuries were reported.

Deputies on July 1 responded to the area of Highway 50 and Highway 28 for a report of a child walking alone on, or near, the roadway. A passersby who stopped to check on the child determined he was alone and notified authorities. The child’s parent was located and he was returned to the parent. No neglect is suspected and no further action was taken.
