Older brother will remain CEO, board chairman

Tom Klebba is the new president of Legends Bank.

The announcement was made last week by Klebba’s older brother, John A. Klebba, who had been serving as president, as well as CEO and chairman of the board of directors.  The latter will continue in his role as CEO and chairman.

John Klebba pointed out that he is not retiring.

“I’m 61,” he said, “but I don’t intend to retire. “It’s time to start looking forward to the next phase of leadership. My goal is to stay on full time until at least 65.”

There won’t be much change at the bank, according to Klebba, the younger brother at age 46.

“Our philosophy has remained pretty much the same from the beginning,” he said. “We want to make the communities we serve better places to live and work.  Being born and raised in Osage County and being a third generation member of this banking family is especially important to me.”

Legends Bank has a facility in Owensville.
