Rademachers celebrate 50 years of marriage with friends, family

Charles H. and Marilyn (Bock) Rademacher, of rural Owensville, celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary, Sunday, April 28, with an open house celebration at Woollam Methodist Church, Owensville, with friends and family.

The Rademachers were united in marriage Saturday, April 19, 1969, at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Owensville, and held their reception at the Owensville V.F.W. Hall. Their wedding ceremony was officiated by John P. Cowan. In attendance were: the late Anna Mae Rademacher, matron-of-honor and sister of the groom; Gene Rademacher, best man and brother of the groom; the late Darlene Piofcyk, maid-of-honor and cousin of the bride; and Ken Bock, groomsman and brother of the bride. The couple honeymooned at Colorado Springs, Colo. 

Marilyn is a former teller at Citizens Bank of Owensville. She is now the bookkeeper of the Rademacher family dairy farm, a Missouri Century Farm. Charles tends the farm.

The bride is the daughter of Mildred (Scego) Bock of Owensville and the late Ray Bock. The groom is the son of the late Herbert and Edna (Boettcher) Rademacher. 

This union has been blessed with two sons, Keith and wife Shaylee and Daryl and wife Crystal; and five grandchildren, Emma and Ellaena Rademacher and Colton, Mackenzie and Harm Rademacher.
