Raymond Lewis Battocletti, 92, Owensville, died Wednesday, Nov. 22, 2017.

He was born Nov. 8, 1925, to Louis and Elvira (Larcher) Battocletti, in St. Louis.

He was united in marriage to Marie (Baumer) Battocletti, June 24, 1950, in St. Louis.

Raymond served in World War II and was a Purple Heart and Silver Star recipient for his service on Iwa Jima. He served as a police officer in the city of St. Louis. He owned Mulanphy Gardens Pastry Shop in Florrisant for over 20 years. He later worked for DePaul Hospital in St. Louis for10 years before retiring.

He was preceded in death by wife, Marie.

He is survived by children, Susan L. Uhle and husband Albert of Sebring, Fla., Raymond Battocletti and wife Deborah of St. Louis, Jeannie Rademacher and husband Gene of Owensville and Robert Battocletti and wife Jackie of Fenton; and seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held (today) Wednesday, Nov. 29, from 10-11 a.m., at Immaculate Conception Church in Owensville followed by an 11 a.m. Funeral Mass.

Interment will be in the St. Michael Cemetery, Bland.

Arrangements entrusted to Hutchens Stygar Funeral and Cremation Center of St. Charles.
