Richard Allen Pierce, 75, Owensville, passed away Wednesday, Dec. 5, 2018, at Mercy Hospital in Creve Coeur.

He was born Sept. 22, 1943, to Raymond and Helen (O’Shea) Pierce, at St. Louis.

He was united in marriage to Colleen Thompson.

Richard was a member of High Gate Baptist Church in High Gate. He was an electrical engineer by trade and worked at Basher Electric for 40 years. He enjoyed fishing, woodworking, and spending time on the lake and with his family.

He was preceded in death by parents, Raymond and Helen; and sisters, Barbara Myles and Dorothy Robles.

He is survived by wife, Colleen, of the home; sons, Michael Pierce and wife Linda of St. Louis, Jeffrey Pierce and special friend Rose Gassel of Owensville, and Wesley Pierce and wife Sheila of Breese, Ill.; brother, Donald Pierce and wife Cheryl of St. Louis; brother-in-law, Charles Myles of Lubbock, Texas; grandchildren, Andrew Pierce of Troy and Johnathan Pierce of Highland, Ill.; and several nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.

His body was cremated and at the wishes of the family no services are scheduled at this time.
