Ronald Buddemeyer

Ronald Richard Buddemeyer, 76, Bland, died Wednesday, Nov. 29, 2017, at his home.

He was born Oct. 10, 1941, to Kenneth W. and Agnes M. (Glandon) Buddemeyer, in Bland.

He was united in marriage to Opal S. (Ringeisen) Buddemeyer, Nov. 18, 1966, in Bland.

Ronald worked as a laborer, truck driver and skilled carpenter. He was a member of the Laborers Union #662. Ronald served his country in the U.S. Army from 1959 to 1961.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers Kenneth “Luke” Buddemeyer and Charles “Charlie” Buddemeyer; sister, Brenda Vandergriffe; sister-in-law Shirley Buddemeyer and brother-in-law Charles “Charlie” Gray.

He is survived by wife, Opal, of the home; sons, Darren Buddemeyer and wife Sherry of Jefferson City; Devon Buddemeyer and girlfriend, Mary Baker, of Bland and Greg Wandersee of St. Louis; brothers, Keith Buddemeyer and wife Lenda of Union, Michael “Mike” Buddemeyer of St. Clair; sister, Ruth Ann Montgomery and husband Ben, of Fulton; and sister-in-law, Linda Buddemeyer of Palmyra; grandchildren, Jessica Buddemeyer and fiance Christopher Hoffman, Justin Buddemeyer, Jaimee’ Buddemeyer, Jared Buddemeyer, Devon “Bryce” Buddemeyer and wife Laura, Mason Buddemeyer and Stormy Newcombe; great-grandson Gavin Buddemeyer and another great-grandchild expected in May of 2018; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and good friends.

Ronald was cremated. A memorial service to celebrate his life is pending at this time. Arrangements entrusted to St. Louis Cremation.
