The step-daughter of a suspected homicide victim from Bland and her boyfriend were still being sought Tuesday evening in connection with the man’s Nov. 25 death.

A Gasconade County felony warrant issued Nov. 29 charges Brooke Allison Buddemeyer, 29, Bland, with second-degree murder and armed criminal action in the death of Jesse Robbins, 53. Robbins was pronounced dead outside a mobile home on Pleasant Avenue in Bland at 7:17 a.m. that Sunday from a “suspected gunshot wound,” according to the Gasconade County Sheriff.

Bond for Buddemeyer was set at $750,0000, cash or surety.

“Working in coordination with members of the Lake Area Narcotics Enforcement Group, two suspects were identified; Brooke Buddemeyer, age 29, and Aaron “Foozball” Lewis, age 36, of Bland,” according to a release issued the morning of Nov. 30 by Sheriff John Romanus.

Lewis is also charged in a felony warrant alleging second-degree murder. His bond is set at $500,000, cash or surety.

Buddemeyer and Lewis were last seen Sunday morning (Nov. 25) driving a black 2015 Nissan Versa with Missouri license plates SM1-C7H. According to Romanus, both subjects are considered dangerous and anyone with information related to the whereabouts of Buddemeyer and Lewis is asked to contact local law enforcement immediately.

“Investigators have put in hundreds of hours into this investigation over the past several days,” said Romanus in his press release. “I am proud of the hard work put into this investigation.”

Romanus said Tuesday evening that they had received “hundreds of tips from all across Missouri” regarding the possible whereabouts of Buddemeyer and Lewis but none had panned out. Both suspects were still at large Tuesday as of 7 p.m. at the deadline for this story.
