Her grandson, Jesse, described her best in these words:  “I have always loved how your doors have always been open to our family and friends.  Everyone knows and loves their “Grandma Jett” even if there is no relation at all, because it is not biology or genealogy that makes someone a grandma.  No, that comes from the love, the caring, the support,  the generosity, and joy that you give to those around you on a daily basis, especially when it may be you that needs it the most.”

She was preceded in death by husband, Marion; parents, Henry and Anna; brother, Alois “Bud” Becker; sisters, Cecelia Hubert and Mary Ann Koepke; and brothers-in-law, Meredith Bicker and Weldon Koepke.

She is survived by children, Terry Jett and Sherri Mistler of Owensville, Monica Schroeder and husband Richard of Union, Mark Jett and wife Donna, Alan Jett, Glenda Vogt and husband and Denny, Vincent Jett, Craig Jett and Tammi Branson, all of Owensville; sister, Bernadine Bicker of Owensville; sister-in-law, Ceal Voss of Washington; brother-in-law, Leon Hubert of Troy, Ill.; grandchildren, Jesse and Nicole Jett, Andrew and Erin Jett, Matthew Jett, Brian and Jennifer Vogt, Tiffany and Dylan Hoffman, Angela Vogt, Jimmy Moody, Ryan Jett, Grace Jett, Josh Littrell and Brant Littrell; and 14 great-grandchildren.
