Owensville Middle School students were treated to a special musical performance Thursday arranged by their music teacher, Emily Bounds. The concert featured chamber music by pianist Dr. Jennifer Judd and friends Dr. Brandon Christensen (violin) and cellist Valentina Takova (right). Judd (left) smiles during a question and answer period held between songs. Judd organized the concert at OMS as part of three performances in preparation for the trio’s Nov. 2 concert held at East Central College where she teaches music. Christensen teaches music at Southeast Missouri State University and performs as a duet with Judd. The trio had rehearsed only once as a group prior to their performance at OMS. They performed shows at Washington’s high school and middle school later in the day.
