Being in our ‘80’s, the prospect of standing in the anticipated long lines was daunting… He has gout and it’s very painful to stand. I had broken my glasses and couldn’t see the fine print…together we make one person these days… When I called to see if there was a handicap line, the very gracious worker informed me they had arranged curbside service, and we could stay in our car, in a space just outside the entrance, while two judges came out to assist us, one Democrat, one Republican. They checked our cards, and then stood outside discreetly, while we went quickly thru our list. Thank you for providing a sample ballot to speed things along. And a Big thank you to the staff, who were exceptionally well trained and knew all the answers. They put in a long and hard day, and then well into the night, driving our ballots to the Courthouse in Hermann to be counted. Where would we be without volunteers? Sincerely, Mr. and Mrs. J.P.
