Bradd Anderson, with the University of Missouri Extension 4-H office Columbia, photographs Thursday at a retirement luncheon for Donna Clavin-Mistler (right), Gasconade County 4-H youth specialist and county Extension program director. Virginia Buschmeyer with the Extension office in Owensville is also pictured and read the proclamation issued by the Missouri Senate honoring Clavin-Mistler for 33 years of service to the University Extension program. She started her career in Chariton County and came to Gasconade County 19 years ago. Her retirement officially takes effect Dec. 28. Friends, coworkers, and fellow Extension 4-H youth specialists from across the region and state attended an open house and lunch at the Extension office in the Farm Bureau building. Several members of the state Extension office team also attended. Sen. Frank Barnitz (D-16th District) arranged for the proclamation to be created for Clavin-Mistler.
