St. Louis — Four area residents have entered guilty pleas within the
last week to federal methamphetamine conspiracy charges, United States
Attorney Richard G. Callahan announced.
Guilty pleas were announced for: • Seth Allen Durbin, 21, Bland, pleaded guilty Jan. 25, set for sentencing April 29, • John Randall Gray, 19, Bland, pleaded Jan. 21, set for sentencing April 21, • Tommy Lee Wilcox, 42, Bland, pleaded guilty Jan. 14, sentencing April 13, and, • Amber Nicole Fieser, 19, pleaded guilty Jan. 22, set for sentencing April 28. Each defendant pleaded guilty to one felony count each of conspiracy to possess pseudoephedrine for the manufacture of methamphetamine. On various occasions between June 2007 and February 2009, these defendants were involved in a conspiracy to purchase pseudoephedrine for the manufacture of methamphetamine in Franklin County. Each count carries a maximum penalty of 20 years in prison and/or fines up to $250,000. Callahan commended the work on the case by the Franklin County Narcotics Drug Task Force, and Assistant United States Attorney Tiffany Becker, who is handling the case for the U.S. Attorney’s Office. Four men from neighboring Crawford, Franklin and Maries counties have been sentenced for conspiracy to manufacture methamphetamine. The include: • Dustin A. Curtis, 24, Belle, sentenced Jan. 26, 84 months in prison, • Kyle M. Pennock, 24, Bourbon, sentenced Nov. 5, 2009, 24 months in prison, • Clayton T. Sherman, 27, Cuba, sentenced Oct. 8, 2009, three years probation, and, • Brandon L. Sherman, 39, Sullivan, sentenced Sept. 29, 2009, 48 months in prison. They appeared before United States District Judge Charles A. Shaw. Callahan commended the work on the case by the South Central Drug Task Force, the Lake Area Narcotics Group, the DEA Tactical Diversion Group, the Gasconade County Sheriff’s Department, the Crawford County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office, and Assistant United States Attorney Noelle Collins, who handled the case for the U.S. Attorney’s Office.
