The Owensville R-2 Fifth Grade classes traveled to St. Louis recently to the Challenger Learning Center. They toured the exhibit and experienced the concept of space exploration. In photo above Eric Dahl, Austin Brocato, Chris Dolles and Dalton Chapman make a model of the Challenger Spacecraft from pieces in the box. In photo top right, Landon Farrell, Wynter Houston Ashley Logan, Dustin Nicks, Jordan Ellis, Tori King, Eric Dahl, Marissa Jett, Kelsie Walbrecht, Allison Walker, Nathan Dillon, Jeremiah Abell, Morgan Huebner and Chris Dolles listen to information about the Challenger Spacecraft which exploded after launching in 1986, killing all crew members. In front of the group is a replica of the Challenger. See the Photo Gallery for more photos
