A 43-year-old man from Bland was seriously injured early Saturday morning when he was ejected from his 1995 Chevy S-10 pickup truck on Route Y. According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol’s report, Clayton J. Tandy was northbound on Route Y when he ran off the right side of the road and overturned several times. The incident occurred at 2:30 a.m. north of Lake Road. Tandy was taken to the University of Missouri Medical Center in Columbia with serious injuries, the patrol reported. Tandy was not wearing a seat belt, the report noted. Michael G. Keeney, 50, of Belle, suffered moderate injuries in a 5:45 a.m. crash on Friday in Osage County. Keeney was westbound on Route E, two-tenths of a mile west of Route U when he ran off the right side of the roadway and struck a ditch. Keeney’s 1990 Jeep turned to the roadway and overturned. He was wearing a seat belt. He was transported by ambulance to St. Mary’s Hospital in Jefferson City. The patrol also reported the May 28 arrest of Arthur R. Maness, 48, of Bland, on a felony Gasconade County warrant alleging failure to appear in court. His original charge allegedly possession of dangerous drugs. Maness was being held late last week without bond in Osage County’s jail. He also faces Gasconade County charges alleging misdemeanor failure to appear in court on charges of possession of marijuana and misdemeanor moving traffic violations. Maness was arrested at 11:20 a.m. last Wednesday.
