Due to new OHS Boy’s Basketball Coach Josh Vinyard being hospitalized, his camp for second through fifth grade boys has been postponed to a later date. Currently in St. John’s Mercy Hospital in Washington, Vinyard went in Saturday night and will have his gall bladder removed Wednesday (today) afternoon at the hospital.

Once he’s released, a new camp date will be set and made available in a future edition of the Republican.

Coach Vinyard is enthusiastic about getting back on the court and working with Owensville’s young basketball players.

“I just want to get better so I can work with the kids on the fundamentals of basketball,” Vinyard said.

On behalf of the Republican Sports staff, we wish Coach Vinyard a speedy recovery.
