Owensville Fireworks

Turnout at the annual Fourth of July picnic put on by the Owensville Volunteer Fire Department saw a good crowd even with the threat of rain. High humidity and low cloud cover prevented the fireworks show from reaching it’s potential. Despite being set off at a higher elevation the “rockets red glare” could not be viewed well outside the park.  In some cases the fireworks barely seemed to explode above the trees.
