Christina Kirby suffered a broken jaw, neck injuries, and a serious facial laceration in a one-car crash reported at 11:30 p.m. Thursday. Gasconade County Sheriff’s Deputy Andrew Delleart said Kirby was westbound on Buchholz Hollow Road “at a pretty good clip” when she skidded sideways into a tree. She was not wearing a seat belt. Her Chevy Lumina struck the tree with its passenger-side door. Owensville fire, ambulance, and police also responded to the scene. She was flown to St. John’s Mercy Medical Center in Creve Co following an extrication which took about 15 minutes.
