This editorial was not published due to lack of space...
I am told by the news media that most people of Jewish ancestry in this country support the candidates of the Democratic party (I have supported a few of these myself), but I find it hard to believe a supposedly educated and intelligent people would support a political party who’s regular position, and most of it’s upper level leaders, have for years worked against Second Amendment rights and the private citizens ability to protect themselves through possession of personal firearms.
European history proves, and African policies continue to prove, the first thing a corrupt, dominating government wants to do is disarm the people. A disarmed people cannot protect themselves from criminals, making them more dependent on government.
That makes them more like servants, which is a short step above slaves, and 200 years ago slaves were little better than cattle and loaded onto rail cars.
No people on the face of God’s green earth should understand that better than the Jewish.
So, if you can, explain to me where there is any common sense in gun control.

Go get em Clyde! And everybody wonders why I prefer anarchy. It is about time we start to speak up about our rights. If you don't want guns, then don't have them, and please don't feel the need to push your anti-gun agenda on myself or anyone else who prefers a little safety and security.
It's a funny thing joe960, you mention jobs and health care, but when it comes down to it, one of the only things in life that will stay more constant, feed me and keep me sleeping well at night, are guns.....stick that in your pea shooter.

Actually, the number of both Jewish and Black Democrats is most likely a result OF of the oppression of which you speak, mostly brought about through the actions of Christian, conservative oppression and denial.

So while it is doubtful that just because people are Jewish, Black or Democrats that they oppose responsible gun ownership, they may well remember the blind eye turned toward the atrocities they once suffered, and are therefore leery of those who associate under that oppressive group's affiliation .

You know what's worse than that? Is that when president Kennedy signed the U.N. disarmament treaty one of the first things listed was small arms. Translation rifles and pistols. Now we have to wonder when they'll decide to step up and really start coming after our guns. It doesn't matter who's in the White House. It all hinges on when they want to do it. We have to worry about the bildeberg group, the C.F.R, and others. They are the ones who dictate what direction this country goes in.
