Students from Owensville Elementary traveled the path from the farmer's field to the playing field when University of Missouri Extension's Food Power Adventure came to town May 3-4.

The weather was perfect for the Gasconade County Timing Association's 20th annual car show. The show is held each spring in downtown Owensville in conjunction with the Springfest.

A constant rain may have dampened the Tayloe auction on April 14 but it did give some youngsters a distraction. The auction was conducted by Gross Auction.
Diesel Generator Dismantled
After using a cutting torch on one of two Fairbanks Morse Diesel Generators, Carols Recycling uses a chain with a block and tackle to remove the top half. The second generator can be seen in the background. Both generators are being scrapped from the former Owensville Power Plant.
