Dorris Elaine Henry, 94, of Owensville, passed away Friday, May 3, 2024, at Gasconade Manor in Owensville.
She was born March 7, 1930, to Thomas and Reta (Warder) Carter in Bourbon.
Dorris enjoyed working in her yard and spending time with family.
She was preceded in death by parents, Thomas and Reta; daughter, Kay Darby; son-in-law, Jack McQueen; and granddaughter, Amanda Thompson.
She is survived by daughter, Jan McQueen of Owensville; sister, Patricia Forshee and husband Bob of O’Fallon; grandchildren, Erin Kramer and husband Bob of O’Fallon, Jill Ferguson and husband Eric of Syracuse, N.Y., Phillip Thompson and wife Lindsay, Patrick Thompson and fiancé Paula, and Brooke Johnson and husband Adam all of Owensville; and great-grandchildren, Jay, Brad, Chris, Drew, Parker, Brenner, Carly, Ross, Halle, Max, Ryleigh, Ellah and Braxton.
Visitation was held Tuesday, May 7, at Gottenstroeter Chapel in Owensville.
Her body will be entombed in Gottenstroeter Mausoleum in Owensville.
