Etta Ruth Beutel, 73, of Jefferson City, Mo., formerly of Owensville, passed away Saturday, Dec. 1, 2018, at Adam’s Street Nursing Home in Jefferson City.
She was born on May 2, 1945, to Ernest and LaVerne (Douglas) Ellis Sr. in St. Louis.
She was united in marriage to Henry Joseph Beutel, Sept. 12, 1964, at St. Louis.
Etta enjoyed gardening, butterflies and spending time with her family.
She was preceded in death by her parents Ernest and LaVerne; husband, Henry; son, Timothy J. Beutel; daughter, Jacqueline Beutel; brothers, Ernest Ellis Jr. and Ray Ellis; and sister, Sissy Ellis.
She is survived by her daughters, Christina Beutel of Rockford, Ill. and Sandra Page and husband Dennis Jr. of Owensville; sisters, JoAnn Williams of Warrenton and Nancy Dunkin of Wright City; grandchildren, Kelsey Davis and husband Derrick of Eureka, Dennis Page III and wife Patty of Owensville, Raymond Page and fiance Anna Massey of Columbia and Tony Page of Belle; and great-grandchildren, Jaxsom and Mattox Page, Lily and Jaxon Davis and Cameron Huff.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, Dec. 8 from 10-11 a.m. at Assembly of God Church in Owensville. A memorial service will follow at 11:00 a.m. at the church with Rev. Les Dority officiating.
