Kathlene R. Diestelkamp,74, of Owensville, passed away Thursday, May 23, 2024, at SSM Health St. Mary’s Hospital in Jefferson City.
She was born Dec. 29, 1949, to Clyde A. and Berdell (Jenkins) Duncan in Owensville.
She was united in marriage to William Diestelkamp, June 6, 1970, at the Owensville First Baptist Church.
Kathlene enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandkids. She loved to shop and was one classy lady. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Owensville.
She was preceded in death by parents, Clyde and Berdell; sister, Linda Fritsch; and brother-in-law, Bill Fritsch.
Kathlene is survived by husband, William; daughters, JeNae Frank and husband Doug of Rich Fountain; Nicole Mitchem and husband Jon of Shaker Heights, Ohio; sisters, Sharron Eichler and husband Bill of Columbia, and Diane Lairmore and husband Jim of Owensville; brother, James Duncan and wife Paula of Zebulon, Ga.; and grandchildren, Meaghan Frank, Garrett Frank, Alexander Frank, Olivia Mitchem and Everett Mitchem.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday (today), May 29, at 11 a.m., at Gottenstroeter Funeral Home Chapel in Owensville with Pastor Marsha West Eichler officiating. Burial will be at Countryside Memorial Gardens in Owensville.
