BELLE — The Osage, Maries, and Gasconade counties (OMG) Women in Ag AgriPride event announced July 9 that early registration is now open.
Hosted by the Gasconade County Soil and water Conservation District, the 9th Annual OMG Women in Ag event will be held on Sept. 5 at the While Mule near Owensville.
“We have another great year of speakers and vendors planned,” the group announced in a press release. “Speakers include Mike Wuerffel on Beekeeping; Dr. Sherri Russell on Wildlife Diseases; and Keynote Speaker Kylie Epperson presenting Grow Through What You Go Through.
According to her biography for the event, “Epperson is a Midwestern farm wife, mom of three, and entrepreneur rural community builder, farm advocate and engaging speaker. Her mission is to help rural women find their own power, transform rural loneliness into a deep, supportive community and rediscover their true selves as they navigate farm life. Kylie’s storytelling, infused with gratitude and humor, opens up about the joys and struggles of motherhood and farming, creating a space where authenticity is celebrated, and vulnerability is met with support.”
To preregister for the event, visitors may mail a registration form by Aug. 9 to Maries County SWCD-WIA, 105 Parkway, Vienna, MO 65582 or go online at omgwiaevent.regfox.com/omgwia2024.
Shirts are also for sale online.
Prepaid admission to the event is $20 or $25 paid at the door.
“We hope you will make plans to join us this fall for another great event!” Event planners said.
