Kenneth Ray Schweer, 80, of Branson, went to his eternal home in heaven June 2, 2024.

He was born in Washington, Feb. 17, 1944, to Kenneth and Naomi Schweer of Owensville.

During high school, he met the love of his life, Margaret Lipskoch of Mount Sterling and married her Aug. 24, 1963. They moved to Bolivar in 1981, where they remained until retirement in 2017, after which they moved to Branson.

Kenneth started his employment at Brown Shoe Factory one week after high school graduation; then went on to work with Alton Box Co. and Chrysler; owning his own truck route for Tom’s Peanut; driving cross-country trucking; all before starting his own business, K&M Janitorial and Carpet Cleaning in Bolivar.

Kenneth loved to hunt, fish, learning to survive in the woods, but most of all, he loved his Savior and his family.

He was preceded in death by parents, Kenneth and Naomi; brother, Richard Schweer; son, Kendall Scott Schweer; son-in-law, Timothy Taylor; and parents-in-law, Harvey and Margaret (nee Gove) Lipskoch of Mount Sterling.

He is survived by wife of 60 years, Margaret; daughters, Lisa Taylor of Branson, Madonna Krebs of Fairland, Okla., and Kendra Babcock of Livonia, Mich.; grandchildren, Malissa Unger (nee Taylor), Emilee Curbow (nee Taylor), Drew Taylor, Caleb Krebs, Ethan Krebs, Makaela Krebs, Nathanial Babcock and Hannah Babcock; great-grandchildren, Mia Unger, Jordan Curbow, Rylee Curbow, and Kinslee Curbow; and brother, Randy Schweer of Owensville.
