Lucille Lydia Hibler, 82, of Owensville, passed away on April 26, 2024, at Stonebridge Owensville.

She was born March 1, 1942, the daughter of John and Myrtle (Ross) Bollmann in Rosebud.

She was united in marriage to Harold Ray Hibler, January 28, 1961, at the United Methodist Church in Rosebud and recently celebrated 63 years of marriage.

Lucille worked at Citizens Bank in Gerald early in her marriage, but then became a homemaker when her daughter was born.

She enjoyed seeing her great-grandsons, as they were the light of her life. Nothing made her happier than the occasional visits and pictures of them to display in her home.

She was preceded in death by parents, John and Myrtle Bollmann; brother, August (Gus) Bollmann; sisters-in-law, Judith Bollmann, Erma Lay, Velma Jean Creek, Mary Ann Hibler and Mary (Babe) Hibler; brothers-in-law, Vernon Lay, Russell Creek, Melvin Hibler and Stanwood Hibler; nieces, Jenny Bollmann and Kimberly Hibler Miller; nephews, Larry Lay, Tom Hibler and Bill Hibler; and uncle, Ray Ross.

She is survived by husband, Harold of their home; daughter, Kristi Fritsch and husband Bill, Jr. of Owensville; grandson, Tyler Fritsch and wife Chelsey of Edgar Springs; granddaughter, Megan DeBoeuf and husband Bo of Owensville; great-grandsons, Levi Fritsch of Edgar Springs and Brooks DeBoeuf of Owensville; and great-grandson No. 3 due in Aug. 2024. Lucille is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins that will miss her dearly.

Services were held at Gottenstroeter Funeral Home in Owensville Monday, April 29, with Pastor Kevin Sullivan officiating. Interment was at Rosebud Methodist Cemetery in Rosebud.
