Marilyn Minnie Landolt, 94, of Hermann, passed away Saturday, June 15, 2024 at Stonebridge, Hermann.
She was born on a farm six miles west of Hermann, March 6, 1930, the daughter of Alma A. (Graupner) and Gilbert H. Schneider. Marilyn attended First Creek School and graduated from Hermann High School in 1947.
She was united in marriage to Bernard G.
“Bernie”Landolt, Aug. 1, 1953, at St. George Church, Hermann. “Bernie” preceded her in death March 16, 1998.
Marilyn was a member of St. George Church and the Hermann V.F.W. Auxiliary. She was also a past member of the Loutre Shore County Club.
Before her retirement she was employed by Stone Hill Wine Co. for 22 years, of which the last 12 years she was the manager of Stone Hill II at New Florence.
Marilyn enjoyed flower gardening, reading, golfing, playing cards with her friends and spending time with her family.
She is preceded in death by parents, Alma and Gilbert; husband, “Bernie;” and brothers, Kenneth and Maldon Schneider.
Marilyn is survived by daughter, Jill Winkelmann and husband Mark of Starkenburg; sons, Timothy Landolt and wife Julie of Tallahasse, Fla. and Mark Landolt and wife Cathy of Marine, Ill.; grandchildren, Michael Winkelmann and wife Jennifer, Katy Winkelmann, Blake Winkelmann and wife Erin, Jessica Landolt, Cassandra Hardy and husband Travis, Ciera Field and husband Ethan; and great-grandchildren, Jacob, Braden, Grant, Case, Collins, Evan, Sage, Jude and Jovi.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, June 18, at St. George Church, Hermann, with Father Bill Debo officiating.
Interment was at St. George Cemetery Hermann.
The family requests memorials be given to St. George School or the Hermann Area Crusade Against Cancer.
