OSAGE COUNTY — Osage County Sheriff’s Deputy Eric Snook of the  Office responded to a reported domestic disturbance at a protected address within Osage County on Aug. 13 at approximately 10:35 p.m.

Upon arrival, Snook spoke with Timothy Duchene, 67, at his residence. The deputy said Duchene exhibited signs of intoxication, including a strong odor of an intoxicating substance, inability to stand without swaying, and slurred speech. During the interaction, Duchene repeatedly made statements indicating distress, including, “that ***** won’t stop messing with me” and “she won’t leave me alone.”

Snook also spoke with the victim, who reported that Duchene had repeatedly banged on their door and made slurs towards them. The victim expressed fear for their safety during the altercation, and provided a voluntary written statement detailing the events.

The incident is being investigated under Missouri Statute 565.091, which addresses second-degree harassment.

“The Osage County Sheriff’s Office is committed to ensuring the safety and well-being of all residents, and will continue to investigate this matter thoroughly,” said Sheriff Mike Bonham.

Duchene was transported to the Osage County Detention Center without incident. No charges have been filed at this time.
